June 17, 2021 at 10:12 am edt. Great lakes crossing outlets, formerly great lakes crossing, is a shopping mall in auburn hills, michigan, a suburb of detroit, michigan, united states. Gameworks closed in march 2010 as part of a corporate restructuring. Gameworks was awesome back in the day.
Back in 1998, great lakes crossing was opened to the public in auburn hills. To this day it is still the largest out Gameworks was probably the most expensive arcade in the entire metro detroit area. Only other thing i remember about great lakes crossing was that michael moore mentioned it in bowling for columbine.

Did anyone get any games from the closing gameworks locations?? Hey did any klovers score any games? I looked into getting some in michigan but the site said games sold out. I thnk the ohio location and the california location sales are starting soon.
I will post the link for the auction. An online search reveals that gameworks closed in 2010 after sega reorganized and the portion of their company running the location filed for bankruptcy in 2004. Great lakes crossing was not conceived as an outlet mall. Rather, it was planned as a traditional mall.
